Booster Pump at Lean Solvent for Acid Gas Removal Unit

What do you know about pump and Acid Gas Removal Unit? in the previous post (Pump 1), i have explained the basis of pump calculation. Another previous post, I have also describe the Acid gas Removal Unit (Acid Gas Removal Unit). 

At this moment, I will explain directly how to design Booster pump at Lean Solvent for Acid Gas Removal Unit and estimate the price with software cost estimator. 

Actually there are two pump in series (Booster pump and Main pump). The booster pump will deliver 116 kbpd solvent from 27 psig pressure at Regenerator to 278 psig pressure at main pump. We used 2x100% booster pump. Another data for physical properties (density, viscosity, length, etc) should be founded before doing the calculation.

How to design and what is estimate cost for the pump?

The result is 

After we got pump data sheet, next step is estimate the price with software. In this case i used Aspen in-plant Cost Estimator 2016.

The result as shown 

The Vendor price is $799200 for two pumps at 2019.

The price is only estimation. if based on cost estimation level
